Barbados is a lovely, rhythmic and friendly country. You do not need any special vaccinations. The tap water is fresh and tasty, purified through corals. Your passport must be valid for six months when you enter the country. You must also be able to show a valid return or connecting ticket.

Electrical system
Like North America, Barbados has 110-115 volt current and USA-style plugs. Europeans will need an adapter.

Cellular telephony
GSM cellular phones cannot be used in Barbados. A GSM world telephone may work; consult your cellular phone operator before you leave to find out what you need.
