Barbados offers a range of watersports activities, including game fishing, sailing, surfing and windsurfing. The annual "Water" festival celebrates these watersports activities as well as the importance of the sea to Barbados.

Boats enter in one of 6 classes as determined by the Caribbean Sailing Association. Classes are: Racing A, Racing B, Cruising A, Cruising B, and J24. Spectators may wish to view the procedings from the Boatyard's Heatwave catamaran for Bds $50.00 including buffet lunch and drinks. Departs from the Boatyard at 9:30am returning 3:30pm each race day.
