AXSES MultiMap: September, 1994. One of the first products to combine Multimedia and Mapping for tourism.

Multimap included a digital (vector) map with all resorts and activities, scenic points and all points of interest spatially relevant. Working with the coastal conservation unit, AXSES plotted inshore reefs, tidal flats, tide pools, wave ridges, beaches and swimming conditions. The map zoomed and configured to the user’s touch. At the same time users could navigate with a search option and by topics, overlaying them and touching button and map points for images, video and text description…. This was complete in early 1990, a remarkable product for its time…AXSES continues to be a pioneer in strategic technology for destination marketing and in integrating technology for marketing.
