Cobblers
Cove Launches New & Improved Website
The
prestigious Relais & Chateaux west coast hotel
presented a fresh face to the World Wide Web,
with the launch of its new website this June.
The new website features vast improvements design
and technology-wise, with the incorporation
of a clean and elegant design to match the luxury
hotel's renowned character - a blend of elegance
and charm mingled with the essence of true tropical
beauty.
Technology-wise, the new site has made good
use of interactivity in various forms - through
the use of streaming video, 360 ° virtual
tours, an interactive map, virtual
postcards, downloadable screensaver,
online brochure, newsletter and
a live weather feed to name a few. The
utilization of vivid photography throughout
the website serves to entice and mesmerize,
luring the potential traveler to this luxurious
west coast oasis.
Packages and Specials are dynamically
displayed on the website from information maintained
in arcRes. The same package information is also
marketed on arcRes channel BarbadosHolidayPackages.com.
Cobblers Cove has also eagerly embraced the
use of social networking as part of their
online marketing strategy, with the integration
of the ever powerful Facebook and Twitter
on their website. Using the arcRes for Facebook
application, arcResBookings.com, rates and information
are automatically loaded and updated on all
arcRes channels including Facebook.
Here is what Deputy General Manager Monica Blackman
had to say:
"It has been a pleasure working
with Shelly Burke and Kathy-Lynn Ward of Axses
in the creation and maintenance of the new social
networks Twitter and Facebook for Cobblers Cove.
As a company we are discovering the far
reaching potential of marketing products and
services through this medium. The niche market
Cobblers Cove attracts is specific to boutique
hotels, so the affiliation with the internationally
acclaimed Relais & Chateaux can be far more
visible now to discerning travelers. Twitter
and Facebook sites are impacting the Caribbean
region more significantly than travel brochures
can and provide a buzz among computer users
of all strata of society, opening new avenues
for distribution of information in a timely
fashion. Thank you Axses, for your team effort
in guiding us through this “work in progress”
to create and retain those memorable moments
for all our customers."

Yellow
Bird Website Re-design
All
web surfers, bloggers, face-bookers, etc are
in for a really good treat as the new and improved
Yellow Bird website has been launched. The website
boasts of a new design concept, modules - including
Google technology and our very own arcRes Booking
technology.
A
very pleased Geeta Chatrani of the Yellow Bird
Hotel says:
"I
enjoyed working with Axses throughout the process
as they gave me the opportunity to be creative.
I felt comfortable during the re-design as they
never made me feel as though I was asking too
much."
Unlike
the previous version of the site, this new site
pushes the theme of more imagery and less text.
This new site is built on a ColdFusion platform
with features such as:
Dynamic Room Types - Here Geeta has the
ability to change her room type information
on the fly with just the click of a button.
When updating her room type info she instantaneously
updates her website, arcRes, and Facebook. Wow,
that's great!
Google
Maps - When the discussion arose with Geeta
about promoting the location of her hotel, we
quickly suggested to her the use of Google Maps
which is based on Google's satellite imagery.
With Google Maps Geeta shows her hotel's location
in relation to the different activity spots
in close proximity.
SEO
- To complete the package, Yellow Bird's website
has been fully optimized and SEO Marketed
by our SEO partner Mr. Earlyn Shuffler.>>>
